Over the past four years, my photographic practice has evolved. What began as a search for individual images I wanted to be strong, but also aesthetic, has gradually turned into a more structured approach: building projects conceived as documentaries.
A single photograph can carry emotion, tension, immediate beauty. But it's by bringing images together, thinking of them as a coherent whole, that they take on a whole different meaning for me: able to tell a story, raise a question, reveal a contrast that a single image alone couldn't express.
This space will grow over time with my different projects, as they mature and my thinking develops. Each one explores a subject that matters to me, with the same intent: to capture the moment, build a way of seeing, invite reflection, and/or illustrate how people live in every corner of the world.
Depuis 4 ans, ma pratique photographique évolue. Ce qui a commencé par la recherche d'images isolées que je souhaite fortes mais aussi esthétiques s'est progressivement transformé en une démarche plus construite : celle de projets pensés comme des documentaires.
Une photo seule peut porter une émotion, une tension, une beauté immédiate. Mais en les assemblant en un ensemble cohérent, elles prennent à mes yeux un tout autre sens : raconter une histoire, poser une question, révéler un contraste qu'une image isolée ne suffirait pas à exprimer.
Cet espace rassemblera mes projets, à mesure qu'ils mûrissent et que ma réflexion avance. Chacun explore un sujet qui m'importe, avec la même intention : figer l'instant, construire un regard, inviter à la réflexion et/ou illustrer la façon selon laquelle on vit dans différents endroits du monde.
